"Love"

I'm not responsible for anything that is posted under this category(category=Romance)...It is ĶİŅĢ's idea and he's the administrator of this category. But I'll post only one thing under this category, hehe.

Raagu:This old man, he played one...

I love you
You love me
We're a happy family
With a great big hug
And a kiss from me to you
Won't you say you love me too?
I love you
You love me
We're best friends
Like friends should be
With a great big hug
And a kiss from me to you
Won't you say you love me too?

Love

When I close my eyes
To sleep at night
It's you I see
Holding me tight
Your arms so strong
You make me feel safe
The only thing wrong
Someone else has your place
I know it is wrong
To be dreaming of you
But my heart just can't stop
These feelings so true
The timing was wrong
I met you too late
A promise was made
To determine my fate
Why weren't you there
When I had the chance
I will always regret
Not getting this dance
And so for now
I will settle for two
But in my heart
It will always be you

The Best Comedy TV Series

I'm not gonna talk about any series like My name is Earl or Everybody loves Raymond or anything else like that. But instead, I'm gonna talk about our very own Maldivian Dhivehi hit comedy series, "Dhiri Ulhumaky Miee" (other versions include "Dhiri Ulhumaky Mieeba" and Huri Gothaky Mieeba") .

The comedy series had been a great hit where the greatest Maldivian comedian, Yusay plays the role of different people often ending in a bad ending in which Yusay faces the audience and asks, "Dhiri ulhumaky mieeba ("Is this life?") ?

But the latest version of the series, Dhiri Ulhumaky Miee is based on current political issues often with a moral for each story. The humor is toned down a bit in these new episodes. I agree that this is a good way of making people aware of current issues.

The best episode of the new Dhiri Ulhumaky Miee is about a man named 'Aadham'(portrayed by Yusay) who is a poor street guy who makes a living by taking garbage from people's houses on a cart to the dump. He later becomes a great political leader of an opposition party created by him and his friend and in the end, he becomes the president of the Republic of Maldives. This is the only episode in Dhiri Ulhumaky Miee with a happy ending for Yusay and the humor is toned down very much in this episode.

I was very surprised to see this episode on TVM because it showed a man portraying the real president himself! I'm quite positive that the DRP (former MDP) member and Addu atoll member of the People's Majlis, MaVota Shareef will be very, very angry because there is a guy named 'Sareef', who is at first a leading member of Aadham(Yusay)'s party but later joins the president leaving his own party in his greed for wealth.

I will not tell you any more about this great episode, you have to watch it yourself to see how great it is. Say, "DHIRI ULHUMAKY MIEE IS THE BEST!" Oh, yeah! No question about it, man.

Terrorists?..in the sunny side of life?!

Man, it is totally unbelievable! Terrorists...in the so-called 'paradise in the world'...in the sunny (or is it funny?) side of life?! Are these guys studying Travel and Terrorism instead of Travel and Tourism at school or what?

The Maldives have always been and still is a place popular as one of the most most peaceful places in the world. That is a major reason why many tourists like visiting the Maldives. But recently, the so-called 'peacefulness' has started disappearing from the face of the Maldives. At first, a killer tsunami hit the Maldives proving that Maldives is prone to natural disasters. Then came the rise of a powerful political instability and major violence. But when all of these were happening, I never thought that this could ever happen here...TERRORISM (blech!) !!!

Whoa, man! Now, this has gone too far! At first when I heard about the Sultan Park Bomb, I thought it was a political thing involving the parties or a sick prank...I thought that the tourists were not the real targets and that they somehow got in the way. But when I saw on some website that this bomb has a connection with radical terrorists who don't know the meaning of jihad, only one thing came into my mind...'DOT COM'!!!

'DOT COMMERS' (commonly known as dotun) ...the radical nuts who call Muslims who don't follow them as kaafirs...the fools who don't enter mosques (or as the TVM people call them, 'ekaherive namaadhu kuraa meehun') ...those @#$%^&**^&%#@!!!! They are giving Maldivians a bad name...and worst of all, they are giving Muslims a bad name! So they must be the new AlQaeda of Maldives...their leader is the Maldivian Osama bin Laden and as I always say where there's an Osama, there's always a George.W.Bush(do I really say that?)!

Many political people are taking advantage of this terrorist attack to put the blame on their enemies. Now people are calling anyone with a beard or short trouser as a 'dotcommer', but this is not true because 'dotcommers' are totally different! The best example of a political party taking advantage of this is DRP, they are blaming MDP saying 'dotcommers' are MDP members and these DRP idiots are labeling different people as 'dotcommers' not even knowing what the hell they are talking about...and the worst thing they did was labeling ME as a 'dotcommer'!...those lying @#$%^&**^&%#@!!!!

PS: The 'dotcommers' will be my heroes if only they'd bomb and destroy Muhibbuddin School with its no good staff (just kidding, hehe ;) )

The Best Books (best of the bestsellers!)

J. K. Bowling's Hairy Potter series (which was at first meant to be for children) has become so popular among people of all ages throughout the world that it was adapted into movies and video games. It has, thus, gained the rank of the best of the best international bestsellers.

The series revolve around the adventures of the young wizard, Hairy Potter and his two best friends, Harmonica Ranger and Brown Weasel. Their adventures mostly take place in their school, Frogwarts. One other major character is the school's headmaster, Oldbus Dumbolddog (the so-called best wizard in the series) . The main protagonist of the series, Hairy Potter has to fight an evil sorcerer, Lord Moldyshorts (the main antagonist of the series) , who is commonly referred to as 'I have no idea who' or 'He whose name is really hard to pronounce' by other characters in the series. There are many secondary characters in the series (so many that I...uhh...kinda forgot their names, sorry, folks!) .

The Hairy Potter series consist of seven books. They are :
  1. Hairy Potter and the Kidney Stone
  2. Hairy Potter and the Chamber of Cigarettes
  3. Hairy Potter and the Prisoner of Maafushi
  4. Hairy Potter and the Golhaabo of Fire
  5. Hairy Potter and the Order of the Police
  6. Hairy Potter and the Half-pus Prince
  7. Hairy Potter and the Jet Li Hollows
Please, if you don't have even one of these magical books, hurry to your nearest bookshop and make sure you don't buy it (seriously!) .

The Best Songs (top of the chart): 3

Raagu: "Oyaalaa dhiyaee kuri ummeedhuthah.."
"Keymey dhuniyeyn
Keymey dhuniyeyn boakiba
Roan heyvee adhu?
Beeveethy kulhi boakiba
Oyaala dhiyaee elhi boakiba
Kai nulevuney boakiba
Gain hurihaa mirus fiyaa
Hikandhi fathaa valho mahaa
Fundi handulaa linbo lonaa
Huni ingura reendhulaa
Leemey ithurah thin thoraa
Udu mathin edhaa handheh fadhain
Kandu matheegai oyaadhiya
Athu nuvefai hureeme mitha
Karunain themi fovefa
Veemey mitha haanthee vefa
Mee tho ey gothaky?
Mee tho ey insaafaky?
Mee tho kalaage zaathaky?
Kohfa dhiya kulhudhiyaa
Keymey dhuniyeyn
Keymey dhuniyeyn boakiba
Roan heyvee adhu?
Beeveethy kulhi boakiba
Oyaa gos leggee kuni gondu dhoshah
Bulhaa kaifiyey..bulhaa kaifiyey!
Boakibaa...boakibaa..."

A great hit among people of all ages in the Maldives! That is mostly because Maldivians love sad love songs and this particular song happens to be a great love song full of sorrow from the beginning to the end(sob :( ).
